YouTube Proxy and How to Find One

A YouTube proxy is essential for many people when they have been frozen out of the site. This is because YouTube has likely become too popular, and employers, schools and colleges are becoming concerned, not only about the amount of time that is being spent in unauthorized use of YouTube and sites like it, but also of the safety of social networking websites in general.

Schoolchildren are particularly vulnerable to predatory adults, although there is little that schools can do to prevent it other than block the access of pupils to these sites. Government establishments, colleges and universities, and private employers are also placing blocks on unauthorized access, and they appear to have a good valid reason for doing so. In such cases it might seem immoral to offer a YouTube proxy that allows people to bypass employers’ blocks, but the demand is there and the technology is there, so employers will have to find other ways of blocking off these sites. However , the desire of people to become actors and movie makers using their own equipment, and to see the results of their efforts online, is compelling, and it is difficult to stop them.

Furthermore, most of the videos shown are largely unedited and the site content is generally not monitored, and some videos have a particular attraction to certain groups of people. There is not generally the need to access a site such as YouTube in the same way as Facebook for example, which many people use as their only means of online communication. However, if you are really determined to get access to YouTube using a computer that you are not authorized to use for that purpose, and that your employer has blocked, then there is a way round it.

A YouTube proxy will enable you to bypass a block on any computer or network by means of a third party proxy that provides you with access remote from the network used by your employer or college. Basically, you enter the URL of the site you want to access, you will be asked for your login details, and the relevant pages will be provided to you. In effect this means that you have full access to a site such as YouTube. Some proxies work slightly differently, but the instructions are easy to follow, and the result is the same with each.

YouTube proxies are normally very simple to use, but they themselves can also be blocked. If that happens you just have to find another one that has not yet been blocked. Most proxies will run until they are found, but new ones are being created all the time. Once you have been connected using a YouTube proxy, nobody can spy into what sites you are using, because it is done through a third party. Currently employers can check out their networks and see who is accessing what website, but not with a proxy.

You should find a YouTube proxy that will work for you on one of these two websites. They were working when I last checked them, and I check all the proxies I have found once a week:

Keep Proxy and,

Facebook Notes

Both of these proxies work with YouTube, even if they don't mention it.

You should find what you are looking for on one of these sites. Facebook Notes provides an undated list of proxies for all sorts of websites from time to time, and if your proxy stops working then it will likely have been detected and blocked, so return here for another one.

Good luck, and enjoy your YouTube proxy.
