This was tested on 1st August, 2009 and was OK then. Use it for work, school or college. Use it for any website you want to visit anonymously: If you are having problems with your Friendster login using Microsoft Internet Explorer, try using Mozilla Firefox instead. There have reports of login problems that have been solved in this way. Solve it yourself with Firefox 2. I don't know why some people find it difficult to logon with IE, but there have certainly been reports on some forums of various problems that users have found with it. I use both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, and each has its particular advantages. Sometimes Firefox doesn't format webpages correctly, although that is generally the fault of the designer rather than the browser. Many people don't know how to design web pages to resolve properly on differnt types of browser. It's a good tip to check your web pages on different browsers to make sure that your visitors are seeing what you want them to see.

If you have been blocked from Friendster by your college, employer or whoever, it is actually the IP address of Friendster that has been blocked. If you could fool your network into believing that you were not accessing your Friendser login, you would not be blocked. A proxy acts as a buffer between your IP address and Friendster's IP address: Friendster will recognize the proxy as being the connecting address, and your school or college will recognize the same proxy IP address as being that to which you are connected. Hence any school, college or work filters will be bypassed using a Friendster proxy, and you will get immediately access your normal Friendster login page. The same is true for any block placed by Friendster itself. If Friendster blocks your IP address then that can also be overcome by logging in from a proxy with a different IP address. You may have to open a new Friendster account if your entite account is frozen, but that is OK if you are using a proxy. You don't even need to use the same proxy every time you login, but make sure you don't use the blocked IP. The same applies to Facebook, YouTube, MySpace and all the other solcial networking sites - not only your Friendster login. One problem with proxies is that they can be detected and also blocked.
