How to Use Twitter

Twitter Integration
If you don’t know how to use Twitter, it is fairly simple to explain the basics, although the real uses to which Twitter can be put cannot be explained in just one web page, unless it is an exceptionally long web page!
Basically, Twitter is a means of communication, using what are known as ‘tweets’ of up to 140 characters, including spaces. People tweet on a vast number of things, the main topics being:
- What you are doing right now
- What you feel about topics in the news
- What you plan to do later/tomorrow/next week
- Define a problem you have and ask for help
- Help people solve their problems
- Keep in touch with friends and relatives
- Advertise your blog/website
- Sell your products
- Anything else you can think of.
If you are a Facebook user, you have a similar box on your home page, letting your friends know what you are doing right now. Twitter is not yet as popular as Facebook, but is increasing in popularity at a much faster rate than Facebook, YouTube or MySpace, the three top social networking sites.
That is basically how to use Twitter. However, there is a far cry between knowing how to use it to send messages, and how to use Twitter to your advantage. Twitter can be sued to make monay, and not just through advertising.
If you are interested in finding out several more ways how Twitter can be used to your advantage, sigh up for my newsletter below and receive not only a regular newsletter, but also my free gift: a report of using Twitter.
Not only that, but I will send you information on Twitter from time to time: Developments, new applications and software, news on take-overs and buy-outs, etc and anything else you might be interested in from a Twitter angle.
As an example, if you are interested in using Twitter to promote your website and products, you can find out how to do it here:
Twitter Traffic
However, although that might seem a bit mercenary, including an advert for one of my products, it is not the whole purpose of this web page.
The purpose is to introduce you to Twiter and, hopefully, teach you how to use it, and I have a lot of free products to offer you in addition to paid ones that help you do just that.
Some are eBooks, providing written information. Some are videos and yet others are software applications, designed to help you get the best of this wonderful little social networking site.
It is such a simpel idea, yet it is growing faster than the biggest three: Facebook, YouTube and Myspace, and currently sitting at Number Three in the social networking hit parade!
